Jointing Method

1

With the help of a saw, cut the pipe as square as possible.

2

Clean the burr, chips ete. form the cut end, with the use of a filer ensuing a smooth surface.

3

Clean the pipe and the fitting with emery paper.

4

By using a clean brush apply the PVC Solvent on the outer surface of the pipe and the inside of the fitting (i.e. to both the surfaces coming into contact).

5

Immediately after solvent cement application insert the pipe into the fitting, and give it a 90º turn for ensuring an even distribution of the solvent cement.

6

Maintain the pressure for around one minute, to develop good strength for the joint.
